macOS
macOS 11+ · Apple silicon & Intel
One installer for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Opens straight into your workspace, remembers its window, signs in with Google without leaving the app.
Download· 222 MB- Open the .dmg and drag Orbitova into Applications.
- First launch: macOS says "Orbitova Not Opened" because the app is not yet notarised by Apple. Click Done, open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway next to Orbitova, then Open. macOS remembers the choice.
- On macOS 14 or earlier the shortcut still works: right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again.
- The very first launch of a new version can pause for a few seconds while macOS scans it once.
Windows
Windows 10/11 · 64-bit
Installer for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. Opens straight into your workspace, remembers its window, signs in with Google inside the app.
Download· 110 MB- Run the installer and choose where to put it; a shortcut is created.
- SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC" because the build is not yet code-signed: click More info, then Run anyway.

What the apps do differently
- Open straight into your dashboard — no landing page, no tabs to find.
- Sign in with Google inside the app; email links bring you back into the app too.
- Invoices and reports open in a print window on desktop, and will share through the system share sheet on mobile.
- The desktop app remembers its window and starts maximised the first time.
- Payments use Razorpay exactly as on the site: cards, net banking, wallets and UPI.
- Everything is the same account: the website, the apps and the editor panels stay in sync.
Final Cut Pro
Final Cut has no panels, so the Mac app is the integration. Add the Orbitova share destination once, then File → Share → Orbitova renders your cut and hands it straight to a deliverable. Read the client's timestamped notes in Orbitova, where a click takes the player to the exact frame.
- 1Install Orbitova for macOS above and sign in.
- 2In Final Cut Pro, add an “Orbitova” destination once: Settings → Destinations → Export File → Open with → Orbitova. One minute; the setup guide walks through it.
- 3Select your project, then File → Share → Orbitova. When the render finishes, Orbitova opens with the file attached — pick the project and deliverable.
Requires Final Cut Pro 10.6 or later and the Orbitova Mac app. Nothing is installed inside Final Cut. Video deliverables are H.264 only.
