Mac appOrbitova for Final Cut Pro
Share straight from Final Cut into a deliverable: one destination renders your cut and hands it to Orbitova, which puts it on the right slot as the next version.
File → Share → Orbitova renders the project and opens Orbitova with the file attached; pick the project and deliverable and it uploads as the next version.
Only projects assigned to you are offered, and video deliverables are H.264 — the same rules as everywhere else in Orbitova.
Client notes are read in Orbitova, where a click seeks the player to the frame. No Apple developer account is needed and nothing is installed inside Final Cut.
Setting it up
- Install the Orbitova app for macOS and sign in.
- In Final Cut Pro: Settings → Destinations → drag Export File into the list, set H.264, then under Action choose Open with → Other… → Orbitova. Rename it Orbitova. One minute, once.
- For every cut: File → Share → Orbitova. Final Cut renders, Orbitova opens with the file attached, you pick the project and deliverable, and it uploads as the next version.
